Continued fitting the cowling. Filed some fiberglass along the top to better follow the windshield contour. Made a best fit on the upper cowling and drilled #40 pilot holes for the screws. Clecoed the top cowling in place to do a final fit check, then updrilled the screw holes to 5/32" for the 8Rx5/8-A-TR-PH-SS metal screws.
With everything in place, updrilled the hinge holes to #30. Took everything apart, smoothed the fiberglass edges, deburred the hinges, re-assembled and riveted the hinges.
Still need to install the A6191-8Z-1D anchor nuts on the lower cowling.
